This Mag Mile restaurant pick is one of Chicago’s best Cajun getaways. Like its name suggests, the restaurant is seven floors high, serving up creole and southern classics from shrimp to huge corn muffins. Try unique dishes like the chicken voodoo po’boy or locally loved gumbo for lunch and dinner, or head to heaven earlier for their full breakfast menu, offering items like bananas foster French toast. Portions are large and the pricing isn’t crazy high, but it’s definitely no fast food joint either. They take reservations, but plan on taking your time reading through lots of Cajun-fried options.
