With a name like The Purple Pig, our start to uncovering some of the best Mag Mile restaurants won us over even more by their tagline: “Cheese, Swine and Wine.” The understated branding speaks to their approachable atmosphere despite an intensely creative menu with Mediterranean hints like chicken thigh kebabs with fried smashed potatoes and tzatziki or pig’s tails braised in balsamic with grated egg and parsley. True to its title, the menu is filled with gourmet cheese options, pork served every way you can think of and a full bar. The Purple Pig is no secret gem though, and they don’t offer reservations, so come prepared for long waits.
